Kayleigh

Border collie x Staffy

4 year old female

Meet Kayleigh 💕, a stunning and endearing canine companion who, with her expressive eyes and beautiful soul, is guaranteed to win over your heart. Despite her initial hardships, Kayleigh's resilient spirit has always shone through. Now, she's ready to fill your life with unconditional love.

Kayleigh has been through a lot after being found injured near train tracks six months ago. With surgery, we healed her broken bones and we hoped to heal her heart. However, she has spent the last 3 months in boarding kennels, as we have not been able to find a suitable foster carer or new home, and we feel like we have let her down.

She really is an earnestly affectionate dog, she thrives on companionship and would love to be by your side. She's not too keen on being left alone but adores being with her humans and has demonstrated a gentle nature with children.

While Kayleigh loves her humans, she can be selective around her doggy peers perhaps due to her Staffy heritage.

Whilst she’s been improving her behaviour around other dogs through training, it’s vital to understand that she might not be an ideal candidate for interactions with unfamiliar dogs in unrestricted settings such as an off-leash park or beach.

With her being extremely intelligent, Kayleigh is a quick learner and enjoys her training sessions. Plus, she's used to wearing a halti and getting cozy in her crate - smart girl! With her partiality for jumping, high fences are a must.

Finally, Kayleigh's dream is to bid goodbye to the kennels she is currently in and find a permanent and loving family.

Yes, she has special needs but if you can be that family to her she will be the most loyal and loving companion.
