Lina is a beautiful grey/brown tabby in need of some special love and care. We don't know much about her history but since coming into care, she has been scared and elusive. Her foster carer has provided her with time, space, patience, and love and we're beginning to see the quirks of her personality emerge. Her nicknames are: 'Her Majestic Diva-ness Princess Lina',
'Lina Pretty Ballerina', 'Sassy Pants', and 'Cheeky Girl' !! She can be a little fussy with her food and toileting, but luckily her foster carer has done the hard yards and worked it all out now! 

It takes Lina time to feel safe in her surroundings, so she likes to have access to somewhere dark where she can conceal herself, like a partially open wardrobe, but she still likes the comfort of a warm fluffy blanket, provided by her doting human. While getting her bearings, she can be a bit nocturnal, preferring to venture out into the rest of the house at night. During the day she is very wary of anyone else in her space and will move slowly and cautiously. She has become more confident of late though, which has been absolutely heartwarming to see.

Lina's foster carer is sure there is a cheeky, gorgeous, loving little girl just waiting to burst out into the world, as she can also be very sassy and demanding, which is why one of her nicknames is 'Diva'! She has got the most lovely eyes, and has such a sweet, loving personality, giving good smooches when she is in the mood, but for now she is still very unsure of being held or having cuddles.

Lina will make someone a wonderful companion. She just needs the space to find her confidence and courage. She is a long term project and it will take time for her true personality to shine through. She needs somewhere quiet and dark to sleep and hide where she won’t be disturbed. She may never be a cuddly cat or a lap cat, but with time may eventually get to the point where she'll sleep next to her human on the lounge, or somewhere she can see them. It will take her a while to build trust in someone.

We are hoping Lina's angel comes along and gives her the chance she's looking for, providing a safe and permanent home, where all her needs can be met and catered to. She's hoping for a cat lover who has the desire to give a rescue cat the love she may never have known, and be prepared for their relationship to build slowly and steadily over a period of time. She needs to be the only animal in the household, in a quiet home with no young children. She will suit someone living alone who has a patient and caring touch.
